We at Slate are interested in maintaining a small, more boutique company. This is to guarantee a consistently unmatched level of service to our clients, as well as to ensure we’re as strong a team together as we can be (it takes a village).
If you’re looking for a typical brokerage structure, we may not be the right fit. We engage in training and share information about our experiences in the market; which developments are worth recommending to our clients, which are not, etc—but what we absolutely do not do, is discuss how best to turn clients over as quickly as possible. We treat our clients the exact way we would want to be treated, and in doing so act strictly as advisors—not salespeople.
We generate a lot of business as a company, and provide it to agents who are interested more exclusively in serving their clients, rather than promoting and marketing themselves. However, we also have agents who like to do both—work on their promotional efforts and equally their clients. Splits vary depending on the arrangement that works best for you.
